JOB DESCRIPTION

Entry-level engineering role supporting the design of overhead (OH) and underground (UG) electric distribution systems. This role focuses on infrastructure hardening and wildfire mitigation, performing design and field tasks under the supervision of experienced engineers.



Key Responsibilities:

• Independently develop design and construction work packages using AutoCAD, AUD, GIS, and proprietary tools.

• Perform basic engineering calculations including pole loading, guying, voltage drop, and conductor sag/tension.

• Translate field data into digital design plans for reconductoring, pole replacement, and line hardening.

• Interpret utility-provided scope documents and translate them into executable design packages.

• Support construction efforts by providing post-construction reviews to ensure standards compliance.
