Overview
The New York Public Library (NYPL) consists of four major research libraries and 88 branch libraries located in The Bronx, Manhattan, and Staten Island. NYPL is seeking an Associate Director of Security to maintain an environment that is safe and comfortable for our Library users and employees. The Associate Director is responsible for the supervision of multiple security personnel and the overall security at NYPL buildings across Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens and Staten Island. They will respond to emergencies, perform general security duties, document unusual incidents, and serve in relief of the Senior Director of Security.
