Graduate from an ARC -PA-accredited PA program, accredited NP program, or MD/DO program. Master’s degree in PA studies or other discipline. Current NCCPA certification or discipline-specific national certification, state licensure in California (or state license eligibility). Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as a PA, NP, or MD/DO.
DMSc, PhD, DHSc, MD/DO or equivalent preferred. Proficiency in Medical Spanish. Proficiency in POCUS. Experience with advanced technical procedures (e.g. intubation, lumbar puncture, central lines, para and thoracentesis). Academic experience in Physician Assistant Education.
