Position Summary:

The Assistant Women's Ice Hockey Coach assists the Head Women's Ice Hockey Coach with all aspects of running the Women's Ice Hockey P rogram . In addition, the assistant will teach the PE program and assist with administrative duties.


Responsibilities:

The essential functions of this position include the following:


(80%) Assist the Head Coach in performing all of the functions necessary to manage and direct the program. These functions include, but are not limited to:
+ Be accessible to and approachable by our students, communicating effectively with our students, recruiting (identifying, cultivating and yielding) prospective student-athletes,
+ Teaching and coaching the sport, managing the roster, planning, scheduling and reserving space for all team activity (practices, games, workouts and meetings), team travel (itinerary, meals, hotels and transportation)
