Job Description
The New York City Employees’ Retirement System (NYCERS) is seeking (2) candidates to work in the Pension Payroll unit and Pension Verification & Recovery unit within Retirement & Pension Benefits division. The selected candidate(s) will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Daily review and maintain cases
- Calculate pensioners and beneficiaries’ overpayments and Income Limitations
- Respond to call center requests or directs inquiry to other staff for their response
- Retrieve and report the deaths of pensioners and beneficiaries received via Lexis Nexis
- Enter, obtain and/or update pensioner’s data and information into the appropriate computer system
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks such as typing letters, preparing documents for imaging, exporting scanned documents, creating a file for each case, and preparing various listings for use in determining eligibility requirements, and/or benef...
