Position Summary The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at La Salle University invites applicants to apply for a 9-month, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The CSD Department houses both an undergraduate major in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a graduate program in speech-language pathology accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA). The ideal candidate will have expertise and clinical experience in medical speech-language pathology and passion for educating and mentoring future SLPs. Essential Duties

Demonstrate teaching excellence in the undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and graduate programs.

Supervise students on special projects, including independent studies and research.

Meet with students at least once per semester for academic advising.

Maintain regular office hours for students.
