Position Overview The Assistant Manager Operations is responsible for managing the logistics and trade operations for selected origins.
What You Will Do - Prepare and execute contracts/sales orders, working with customers & sales team
- Liaise with origin / supplier / own production site to ensure orders are logged and executed as per customer’s requirements.
- Tracking of shipments & documents and ensuring that we meet the KPI’s requirements
- Good understanding of contract management, payment terms and import/export documentation
- Understanding shipping incoterms, as well as basic knowledge of Bills of Lading
- Liaise with banks, shipping lines, suppliers, traders, agents and customers as well as our offices across the globe
- Check and submit all export shipping documents to customers and / or their representative banks
