What The Role Is To assist in formulating and implementing national non-communicable disease prevention policies with relevant partners and stakeholders, to reduce the overall burden of non-communicable diseases. The key focus of these policies would be to lower the prevalence of modifiable risk factors contributing to chronic disease development and increasing early detection of chronic diseases.
What You Will Be Working On - Formulate and implement feasible, innovative, evidence-based, and sustainable preventive health policies that are aligned with MOH healthcare principles and priorities.
- Work collaboratively with relevant agencies including Health Promotion Board, Health Sciences Authority, and Public Healthcare Clusters.
- Work with relevant divisions/agencies on legal/enforcement matters, funding arrangements, or public communications where relevant.
