We currently have a permanent vacancy in Anstruther at Ladywalk House Care Home. 

Assistant Cook - 30 hours per week as required Monday to Friday on a 52- week contract. This post involves working on a 3-week rota working 5 days from 7, 2 weekend on 1 off. 

Duties will include preparation of food and beverages and the organisation of the service of food, along with understanding the requirements of special diets.

Duties may include serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), and cleaning of the kitchen, it's surround and equipment. 

Completion of basic bookwork and electronic returns may also be required. 

You will earn a competitive salary of £25,604.23 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:
