A growing construction contractor is seeking an Assistant Controller to support financial operations within a project-based construction environment.


Position Overview

The Assistant Controller partners closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective financial management. This role requires a strong background in construction accounting.

Key Responsibilities

+ Financial Reporting

+ Assist in preparing timely, GAAP-compliant financial statements

+ Analyze financial data and support leadership decision-making

+ Construction Accounting (Required)

+ Manage project accounting including job costing, revenue recognition, and WIP analysis

+ Partner with project managers to ensure accurate project financials

+ Budgeting & Forecasting

+ Support annual budgeting and ongoing forecast processes
