Responsibilities
- Advance research on calm‑water resistance, hydrodynamic loads, motions, and added resistance using targeted experiments, full‑scale operational data, and both high‑fidelity and reduced‑order models.
- Build a dedicated research team, secure funding from institutions such as the Research Council of Finland, Business Finland, and Horizon Europe, and foster applied and fundamental studies.
