Key Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Engineering within the C&I Major Projects team, the Asset Support Engineer:
- Assists the Senior Asset Engineer with real-time performance monitoring and initial fault finding of Hybrid Energy Systems (solar PV, BESS, HV distribution) across AGL’s portfolio.
- Ensures energy production, asset reliability, and energy security by identifying underperformance and emerging faults via SCADA, analytics, and monitoring systems.
- Coordinates safe triage, escalation, and communication with technicians, engineers, and external stakeholders.
