Job Description

Incumbent teaches a full load in their discipline and also advises students. In addition, this Instructor is under the direction and supervision of the Chair of the School of Visual and Performing Arts. Mandatory Qualifications (M1) Master’s degree in Fine Art, Art Education, or Graphic Design and at least 18 graduate semester hours in art from an institutional accrediting agency of higher education.
(M2) Demonstrated experience and working knowledge within the Adobe Creative Suite.
(M3) Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills.
(M4) Teaching experience.
(M5) Familiarity with basic Internet, e-mail, and word processing functions. Desirable Qualifications (D1) Community college and/or college-level teaching experience.
(D2) Multi-media instructional delivery experience.
(D3) Quality Matters online certification.
