The Array Maintenance Group (AMG) Supervisor leads and manages operations-related activities at the ALMA Array Operations Site (AOS) and the Operations Support Facility (OSF). Main responsibilities include ensuring adherence to JAO safety regulations and operational procedures, allocating resources and assets, coordinating tasks, providing technical expertise, and directing preventive and corrective maintenance processes. This role is critical to minimizing array downtime and maximizing availability for scientific operations. The AMG Supervisor collaborates with teams across the Department of Engineering and supports the requirements of the Department of Science Operations (DSO). The AMG Supervisor achieves annual objectives by effectively managing team performance in alignment with the organization’s values.
