Our client is an established multinational manufacturer with a strong presence across global market, especially in APAC region. They are currently looking for an Area Sales Manager covering Southern region (Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan) to be based in either Melaka or Johor Bahru.

Overall Job Purpose

Achieve the company’s sales, marketing and profit objectives in the General Trade Channel (in Southern Malaysia) through the development and execution of sales, marketing and business plans.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, recommend, and gain management approval of the annual business plans for total region, including Retail and Foodservice pack – detailed sales activity plan by top customers (Local Modern Trade); sub-channels; sub-distributors and wholesalers.
