Lead Architect, Toronto

Our office is seeking a Lead Architect to join our Toronto team. This is a new role and will be hybrid and based out of our downtown Toronto office. The position will work on rail projects (High Speed, Metro, LRT, streetcars) at 130 Adelaide Street West. Candidates must be from the greater Toronto area to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess designated projects and develop designs taking into consideration transit project features, buildings, climate, future usage and other aspects.
• Develop architectural design packages based on applicable project specifications, codes and standards, and manage stakeholder reviews and comment resolution.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary and collaborative design environment with the ability to resolve complex internal and external interfaces.
• Oversee BIM related issues, maintaining good working knowledge of applicable standards and methodologies.
