Convert business processes and rules into well-defined data requirements and system specifications
Design and enhance database structures to support accurate reporting and efficient data retrieval
Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Support the deployment of application updates, patches, and database migrations
Manage and administer user access for applications and databases
Perform system and application testing to validate performance and functionality prior to releases
Monitor database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement optimization strategies
Take ownership of IT audits and business continuity planning (BCP)
Ensure adherence to IT governance, security policies, and best practices
Provide backup support for IT operations when required
