About The Role

We are currently looking for an Animal Care Supervisor to fill a vacancy and join our Guelph Housing Team. Reporting to the Manager, Animal Care this role provides leadership to the afternoon housing team and works collaboratively with the day shift supervisors and the Manager, Animal Care with an objective of maximizing production, semen quality and animal health care.

What You Will Do

• Provide daily supervision and direction to the Animal Care Specialists; encourage teamwork and cross‑training
• Completes entry of staff time and attendance into the company’s payroll system
• Develop, maintain, and communicate Animal Care Specialist work schedules
• Participates in investigation of health and safety incidents, bull accidents or incidents and participate in JHSC monthly inspections
