Under limited supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total patient care and functions in the transport environment on a particular shift, in accordance with established corporate philosophy. Orients, trains, and manages transport personnel. Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains positive relations with referring and receiving departments and nursing units; participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel. Must be eligible for medical command in the Commonwealth of PA.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Associate's Degree Preferred. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
Experience: 1 year experience performing critical care interfacility transport Preferred. 3 years experience (minimum 4000 hours) in 911 or equivalent environment as an EMT/Paramedic Preferred.
