Airbus Defence and Space SAU invites applications for the role of Airworthiness Technical Engineer for Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs) and Generic and Individual Repairs.

Mission

The main mission of the Airworthiness Technical Engineer is to define applicable certification requirements for ICAs (AMM, Trouble Shooting Manual, IPC, etc.) to demonstrate its compliance, and to participate in the approval of Generic and Individual repairs as part of the different aircraft manuals and continuing airworthiness artefacts.

Functions and Tasks

• Define applicable certification requirements for ICAs (AMM, Trouble Shooting Manual, IPC, etc.), including ALS and demonstrate its compliance.
• Coordinate and perform the airworthiness approval of Individual and Generic Repairs, exercising DOA/MDOA privileges (when available) as delegated by the Chief of the Office of Airworthiness.
