The electrician/avionic aircraft mechanic I maintains and troubleshoots SOF specific MH-60M aircraft as it pertains to electrical and avionics systems, sub-systems, communications, navigation systems, weapons, and aircraft survivability equipment.

**Responsibilities**

+ This mechanic will be required to repair and replace aircraft wiring, replace aircraft components, and trouble shoot aircraft electrical systems as needed or as instructed in technical publications and IETMS.
+ The mechanic will need to be able to use a multi-meter as well as other standard avionic test sets to maintain and trouble-shoot aircraft systems.
+ This worker reads schematics, interprets maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
