This is position is based at Norwich Airport.
MAIN SCOPE & FUNCTION OF JOB
Under the direction of the Air Traffic Engineering Manager undertakes maintenance and rectification of airport Primary Surveillance Radar and displays, Airfield Navigational aids and Ground to Air/Ground Communications Systems.
ENVIRONMENT
Office, workshop, equipment rooms, working at heights of 30m and outdoor working, 39 hours per week plus call in as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES / DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY
On appointment he/she will become certified through Local Air Traffic Safety Engineering Personnel (ATSEP) training, manufacturer training and competency assessment to be proficient in maintaining Air Traffic Services safety critical equipment.
