5–7+ years of experience in IT-focused procurement, sourcing, vendor management, or technology purchasing
Strong experience managing enterprise software licensing, renewals, and vendor agreements
Understanding of different software license models and can provide key reporting or feedback for cost savings
Knowledge of Microsoft ecosystems and its licensing include AI, Cloud, etc and other common software programs such as Workday, Salesforce, MATLAB, etc.
Experience with SaaS procurement, software lifecycle management, and license tracking/optimization
Familiarity with open‑source licensing considerations and compliance requirements
Strong contract negotiation skills, including pricing, SLAs, renewals, and vendor management
Ability to conduct cost analysis, ROI assessments, and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluations
