Advanced Practice Registered Nurse

Serves in collaboration with a Physician as a provider for patients over the entire spectrum of age and gender. The scope of practice includes diagnosing, treating and prescribing medication.

Minimum Qualifications

Work Experience:

• Two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with demonstrated leadership skills preferred.

Education:

• Master's degree (or higher) in Nursing required.

Certifications/Licensure:

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (or temporary work permit) in the Commonwealth of Kentucky required.
• APRN Certification from a board recognized national organization required.
• DEA License required within 6 months from date of eligibility.
