Job Summary

College Admissions Counselors are an essential element of the University administrative team. Based on program and location capacity, recruiters build student prospects and new student markets by locating, establishing, assist in developing and implementing recruiting strategies and activities that enhance enrollments.
Essential Functions:
-Discovers and cultivates prospective student and new market leads.
-Recruits prospective students and provides essential information related to admissions requirements and enrollment processes.
-Makes vital information available to the community through visits and presentations.
-Works collaboratively with University deans, faculty, staff, alumni, and current students to attract new students.
-Fosters awareness, promotion, and support of a culture of higher education through outreach.
