The Admissions Coordinator is the liaison for referrals, tours and admissions. The Admissions Coordinator has responsibility for ensuring that all information is obtained, documented and communicated to the appropriate staff within the Healthcare Center. Detailed documentation is accomplished through the Admissions, Discharge and Transfer System (ADT). The Admissions Coordinator is responsible and accountable to the Healthcare Center Admissions Director for: (1) gathering and processing all daily census information within the MFA Corporate guidelines, (2) gathering and processing all information necessary to complete the preadmission review process, (3) adhering to all MFA admissions operational standards, policies and procedures, (4) securing admissions and bed retention agreements and payments in a timely manner.
