Lesley University’s Graduate Department of Counseling & Psychology is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach: GCOUN 7710. Clinical Practice and Supervision I. Tuesdays, 7-9:30 pm. Fully remote.
Course description: This course is the first semester of a yearlong supervision seminar focusing on the integration of theory and practice. This course is taken while students are engaging in their internship; 600 hours (minimum) of field experience required. Students are required to do case presentations reflecting on psychodiagnostics, treatment planning, sociocultural context, transference/countertransference, and referrals.
Qualifications and Capabilities- Master's degree & active LMHC required-
- Successful teaching experience at the graduate level- Knowledge of LMHC licensure requirements- Knowledge of psychodiagnostics, treatment planning, sociocultural context, transference/countertransference, and referral processes
