Accounts Assistant, Maida Vale
Full-Time (Flexible Hours Considered) and fully office based, £28-30,000
Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small, friendly finance team. This is a varied role covering Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Credit Control duties.
Key responsibilities
Create and maintain customer and supplier accounts.
Raise invoices, issue statements, and allocate payments.
Support direct debit collections and cashflow forecasting.
Chase overdue payments and manage aged debt reports.
Process supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate filing and support the Accounts Manager as needed.
About you
Proven experience in Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger.
Credit Control experience or strong capability in this area.
Confident using Microsoft Office and accounting systems.
Organised, accurate, and able to manage multiple tasks.
