Accounting Manager III – ASC 606 & Contract Accounting
📍 San Diego, CA | 9/80 Schedule (Every Other Friday Off) + 1 WFH Day/Week
We're looking for a highly technical Accounting Manager to lead ASC 606 revenue recognition and contract accounting across approximately 300 government and commercial contracts.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys navigating complex contract structures, making critical revenue recognition decisions, and leading a team of accounting professionals. You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance, supporting audits, and driving consistency across fixed-price, cost-plus, and hybrid contracts.
Key Responsibilities

+ Own ASC 606 revenue recognition and contract accounting activities

+ Interpret contract terms and determine appropriate revenue treatment

+ Apply Point-in-Time (PIT), Over-Time (OT), and Percentage of Completion (POC) methodologies
