Accountant Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented General Accountant to support monthly close activities and day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role requiring strong fundamentals in GAAP, solid Excel skills, and comfort working with large volumes of financial data and data entry. Experience with merchandise/retail accounting systems is a plus.
Key Responsibilities

+ Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across multiple entities

+ Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

+ Support preparation of financial statements and internal management reporting

+ Assist with budgeting/forecasting through data gathering and analysis

+ Perform and support accurate data entry and maintenance of accounting documentation

+ Review and interpret bank statements; assist with related reconciliations and follow-up
