Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Accountant to support inventory and revenue accounting for a marketing entity within the Products Pipeline segment for one of our top clients in the Midstream sector. This individual will play a key role in the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, performing variance analysis, and identifying any material fluctuations. You’ll partner cross-functionally with teams like Trading, Scheduling, and Business Development to support forecasting efforts and help resolve discrepancies, while also being comfortable working directly with traders.
Day-to-day responsibilities include reconciling inventory between the general ledger and external statements, reviewing and processing trucking invoices, executing counterparty settlements (invoicing and payments), and investigating volume or pricing discrepancies.
