A large mining resources business with operations across Australia is looking to recruit a skilled Accountant.  The main purpose of the accountant role will be to assist the Financial Controller and wider finance team with various accounting and reporting tasks.  This is a great opportunity to develop & progress within a successful organisation.

The accountant’s key duties will include:

• Preparing month-end tasks, including journals and accruals
• Dealing with reconciliations, including balance sheet & intercompany
• Financial reporting, including variance analysis
• Reviewing financial data
• Investigating and resolving queries, including tax
• Assisting with sustainability reporting
• Assisting with ad hoc projects
