ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Advise new, returning, transfer, and international students regarding appropriate class selection, academic policies and procedures, the requirements of their major, campus resources, and academic and/or departmental requirementsAssist students in identifying long-term goals, both academically and personallyGuide students to meet their goals through exploration of classes, majors, and academic programs while meeting graduation requirements in a timely fashionUses Starfish for scheduling, note-taking, creating and clearing flags, and for follow-up on referrals and alertsAll Starfish flags must be cleared in a timely and thorough manner to ensure the concern has been addressed to completionStarfish should be checked every 2 to 3 daysParticipate in inter- departmental Student Support Committee meetings to ident...
