What you’ll do

Filings execution:

• Prepare and file high volumes of US state and local sales tax returns and European VAT returns
• Manage filing calendars and ensure deadlines are never missed
• Work with tax authorities and Departments of Revenue to resolve notices, rejections, portal issues, and questions
• Maintain accurate records and audit trails

Registrations & account maintenance:

• Complete sales tax and VAT registrations across jurisdictions
• Gather and organize the information and documentation for each registration
• Send clear, written follow-ups to collect missing information from customers when needed
• Track registration status and follow up with jurisdictions
• Maintain portal access and account details across states and countries

Operational improvement:

• Spot recurring issues and inefficiencies
