Purpose of the Role

The ABYM Male Facilitator will be responsible for engaging Adolescent Boys and Young Men (ABYM) aged 15–24 through social and behavioural change interventions within the AYP (Adolescent and Young People) HIV prevention programme. The role involves facilitating structured group sessions, promoting positive masculinity, reducing harmful gender norms, and encouraging uptake of HIV prevention services.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Enroll eligible ABYM participants into the AYP programme to meet daily, monthly, and quarterly targets.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate structured interventions including:
  • One Man Can
  • Grassroot Soccer
• Facilitate dialogues and engagement sessions with ABYM and Male Sexual Partners (MSPs).
• Build rapport, trust, and healthy boundaries with young male participants.
