HOW TO BECOME A WCPS SUBSTITUTE TEACHER:
STEP 1: Complete and submit the application in Frontline - Recruiting & Hiring. Be sure to include a copy of your High School Diploma/GED/Two-Year or Four-Year Degree/Transcript the Effective Teacher Certificate (Required) (Completion of 24 Contact Hours) (exempt if you hold an NC Teaching License).
STEP 2: After you complete the substitute application, please email the HR Specialist at
