HOURS: School days

EFFECTIVE: 2026-2027 School Year

REPORTS TO: High School Administration

RESPONSIBILITIES:


+ Has an understanding of the needs of a diverse population,

+ Willing to familiarize themselves with the implementation of the scheduling process,

+ Is able to effectively intervene with at-risk students academically and socially,

+ Participate in special education conferences: CSE, CST, and Section 504,

+ Has a working knowledge of the college application process, including the Common Application

+ Has familiarity with Naviance and Eschool

+ Familiarity with N.Y.S. graduation requirements and Regents’ requirements

+ Familiar with academic, social-emotional and career counseling
