SUMMARY
Responsible for moving materials throughout the plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Check the schedule and get recap from master recap stand. Read recap thoroughly check job as to accuracy, reporting any error or discrepancy to the department supervisor immediately.

+ Fill out correct documentation, such as, machine sheet, shortage reports, meters.

+ Pull materials to machine, verify the operator has the correct materials and call for the mechanic. If the material is the start of a new job in the bindery department, put one copy of the master recap with the role at the machine.

+ In bindery, periodically check the small job rack for rolls of small jobs or samples to be run in the department, as required. Sign out on log. Advise superviso...
