LOCATION: Currituck County High School
START DATE: August 10, 2026
PRIMARY DUTY:

• To provide 1:1 support for a student with medical needs.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive role model both professionally and personally
• Completion of training necessary for licensing as a registered nurse
• Experience in pediatrics and/or public health nursing preferred
• This employee must be certified by the National Association of School Nurses (NASN)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Current license as a registered nurse in the United States
• Completion of a practice requirement in school nursing
