We are seeking an experienced manufacturing/warehouse person to join our team within the order picker department for trim and doors.

Role Summary:

· Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders for accuracy

· Determine storage areas for incoming shipments of doors and trim, allocate appropriate space within the warehouse

· Pull required doors and trim from stock to fulfill customer orders

· Assist in physically moving incoming items into designated storage areas

· Assist in loading and unloading trucks and determine safe ways for stacking doors on truck and in warehouse

· Where required, operate forklift to pick product and transport to designated warehouse spaces

· Mark finished material with instruction for site installation

· Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule

· Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping high quality standards

· Keep a clean and safe working environment

· Maintain receiving files and shipping records (shipping schedule, trip sheets)

· Follow quality service standards and comply with company policies, rules and procedures

· Ensure equipment/racking area is maintained and in good working order

· Assist other employees in department, when applicable

· Organize trip sheets and schedule delivery for drivers

· Check finish carts for accuracy before being loaded

Overall Responsibilities:

· Receiving and shipping, inventory control, information system accuracy

· Work with supervisor to ensure required team can achieve service and schedule requirements

· Ensure work in team is performed in safe manner and high-quality standards are maintained

· Identify causes of safety/productivity/quality shortcomings and suggest strategies to improve

Essential Qualifications:

· Forklift experience

· High level of personal integrity and strong work ethic

· Professional and mature demeanor

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Confident, consistent and decisive personality

· Must be self directed and able to work with little supervision

· Some heavy lifting required
