We are growing, innovating, and it’s our great people that make it fun to come to work every day.SPUD.cais looking for a full-timeInventory Contol Quality Assurance (ICQA) Team Member for ourEdmonton, AB warehouse(7039 68th Avenue).This shift isMonday – Friday, Monday – Thursday 9:30 am – 6:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.Receiving pos into inventoryOverseeing inter-company transfersRecording write-offs daily, and removing from IOAOverseeing that dates are checked monthly for dry goodsOversees that dates are checked daily in dairyPerforming weekly/monthly cycle counts (create weekly count schedule) and uploading into the systemOversees that inventory is available for seven day sales report, and puts hold on oversold productsManages getting a retail buy list produced dailyCreates new locations for new products and/or warehouse optimizationRestocking grocery sections on the production line, and organizing back stock bays according to FIFOReports on daily shorts and subs statisticsManages substitutions in order to achieve optimal customer satisfactionOther duties as assigned.Previous experience working in a warehouse or grocery environment, with inventory, preferredMinimum of a high-school education, post secondary education (or similar work experience) considered an assetMust be proficient in Microsoft Office, and Google Docs and SheetsProven ability to problem-solve and think creativelyA passion for organic food, supporting local, and sustainability.Strong English language verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to work for extended periods of time, and entire shifts in our walk-in refrigerated coolers as neededAttention to detailMust be able to lift 50 lbs continuously as requiredTeam first mentality$16.00 per hour starting wage20 % discount on spud.ca ordersExtended health care benefits (for employees working 24 hours or more after the 90 day probationary period)
