In collaboration with the manager, clinical staff, endocrinologists, and patient access staff, provides clerical and administrative support to maintain a progressive, efficient, organized healthcare environment that enhances the patient and staff experience. Contribute to safe, quality care byManaging workload effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment. Maintaining the clinic schedule in Epic as an Epic key user.Triaging new referrals in a timely manner.Scheduling follow up appointmentsMonitoring and ordering supplies for the departmentCoordinating OTN appointments and supporting virtual classesLiaising with various doctor’s offices to obtain complete referrals Contributing to a safe, inclusive environment for all through compliance with patient and staff safety policies and procedures.What must you have?Grade 12 or equivalent.Working knowledge of Medical Terminology.Prior experience in an administrative/clerical role required, preferably within a healthcare environment. Experience using an electronic medical record and scheduling system (Epic is preferred)Computer literacy in a Microsoft Office environment including Word and Outlook.
