In turn, we offer an environment that fosters a people-first culture with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.Our Saskatoon office is looking for a Trustee/Vice President, Consumer Insolvency to join our BDO Financial Recovery Services team and own the following responsibilities:Manage consumer bankruptcy and proposal filesProvide advice on current bankruptcy laws and practices, conduct debtor assessments, and manage recovery of assets (including acting as Receivers)Supervise junior staff and delegate tasks and projects as requiredOngoing communications with debtors, creditors, the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, and the Courts through creditor meetings, reports, attendance at Court, etc.Identify, target, and develop referral sources.Assist with practice development assignments and travel to other BDO offices and off site locations as requiredAssist with managing court files, including taxation of feesHow do we define success for your role?
