One of our clients in Financial Sectoris currently seeking a BusinessSystems Analyst / Technical Supportto join their team in Downtown Toronto.This position is primarily responsible for support of Order Management System (OMS) and related investment management applications. The successful candidate will work closely with Portfolio Management Group, Portfolio Operations & Compliance Team or their representatives to determine optimal solutions related to the investment management process. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with supporting the Buy Side Portfolio Management Software. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Business Analyst, Programmer Analyst and Business Representative to identify, troubleshoot problems and manage issue/task to closure. Primary contact for reporting, data issues and other requests. Participate in small to medium project related with upgrades and implementation of third-party software. Create and maintain support document Develop and enforce control processes that manage changes in the system. Monitor and maintain all daily processes. Requirements 2+ of IT experience as business system analyst within the Financial Industry. Working knowledge of an Order Management System is ideal (Charles River IMS). Strong knowledge in SQL and relational database concepts. Proficient with UNIX scripting language. Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills Excellent analytical ability & problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently. Solid written and verbal communication skills. General knowledge and understanding of servers and networks. Industry knowledge of asset management preferred. Proven ability to work in a mission critical operations environment. Working Conditions: Normal office environment Occasional overtime work is required. On call is required.
