What you-ll be doing:Following recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set out by our Pastry ChefPreparing daily items according to instructionsAssisting in maintaining clean and organized stationsAssisting in cleaning food prep areas, equipment, and utensils, while strictly adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene guidelinesFollowing FIFO (first in, first out) method to maximize freshnessMoving food products and supplies between outlets when necessaryReporting any equipment/utensil malfunctions/deficiencies to Chef on DutyWorking collaboratively with BOH team membersFollowing and enforcing hygiene and safety standards set by the Public Health Department and the Company What you-ll bring to the kitchen:EXPERIENCE. You have at least one (1) year of professional bakery experience. Previous work with a sheeter, vienoisse and brioche, fermentation, sourdoughs and the art and craft of French boulangerie is required.EDUCATION/TRAINING. You-ve graduated with a Baking and Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts degree/diploma/certificate and/or the equivalent in education and experienceDRIVE. You have a drive to grow, an eagerness to learn + a genuine desire to contribute and have FUN!ADAPTABILITY. You thrive in a fast-paced, everchanging environment (and a weekend schedule).PERSONALITY.
