Our curiosity fuels innovation, pushing boundaries, challenging the status quo and changing the way we live.What you’ll doWe’re looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Territory Sales Executive (TSE) to drive the sales of SAS software products & solutions through our reseller channel in the growth market segment. This segment covers a geographic territory of organizations large and small in Canada of companies below ~$1B in revenues. You will work collaboratively with SAS channel partners to develop new sales opportunities, manage sales pipelines with your partners and support closing business. Programmatic approaches will be key, and you will be working in close collaboration with SAS channel partners in this role, aligning with channel partner go to market plans. You will: Directly report into the Business Unit Leader for assigned Geographic territory and be aligned with the SAS Alliances and Channels organization Generate sales of SAS software products, and solutions Qualify new sales opportunities Work in collaboration with SAS Business Development Reps to ensure distribution of qualified lead to partners Network and establish new relationships with customers and partners Build upon existing accounts Forecast time to close business Manage sales pipelines in line with targets Collaborate with channel partners, SAS Channel partner managers, and SAS presales consultants during a sales cycle Proactively understand channel partner capabilities, value propositions including MASP offers Engage channel partners in all aspects of sales cycles in support of channel partner enablement As partners develop sales capabilities conduct continuous in-field sales coaching & development Prepare quotations, proposals and set time schedules Develop an understanding of company pricing and procedures General administrative duties as required in the roleOther highly requested knowledge, skills, and abilities: 5+ years proven sales experience in the Mid-market including experience working with software channel partners Understanding of Data Management, Business Intelligence and Analytics A sales lead mindset in managing sales cycles, forecasting accuracy Ability to develop a collaborative culture with sales support teams, channel management, and channel partners Ability to provide sales coaching to partners throughout the sales cycle Networks and establishes contacts in key areas Adapts sales approach to fit the audience Drives activity and motivates the people around them Strong relationship building skills Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively Knowledge of the Canada market is desirable SAS knowledge is also highly regardedWhy SAS We love living the #SASlife and believe that happy, healthy people have a passion for life, and bring that energy to work.
