Responsibilities This individual will be the primary point of contact for creating and delivering the strategic business plan to achieve the revenue and expense goals for the region with the CardioMEMS Heart Failure System. Collaborates with the broader Heart Failure team to ensure that service levels for a specified customer account are met at the highest possible level Provide support as needed in the following areas sales support, heart failure clinic support, training and education, clinical studies/data collection, new product in service training and attending operative cases to provide Clinical assistance/support for customers at implantation as well as help to address clinical issues that can arise by providing the necessary technical expertise and guidance Participate in internal Heart Failure Business Unit meetings and work as a positive and enthusiastic member of the broader Heart Failure Team. As such, act in a collaborative and coordinated manner to deliver on annual objectives Effective and timely management of issues related to clinical, process or product performance is a must. This includes monthly reporting, weekly expense management and product event reporting Excellent ability to build relationships and communicate effectively all stakeholders (internal and external customers). This would include but not limited to the Heart Failure team, marketing and other support Abbott personnel, as well as all relevant hospital stakeholders (clinicians, administration, etc.) Play a role in executing market development and reimbursement initiatives with provincial officials with the aim of obtaining appropriate funding for CardioMEMS Awareness of and adherence to MEDEC and Abbott codes of conduct Regular communication and reporting as assigned Maintain current knowledge with recent publications, clinical issues through continuing education that will impact performance and knowledge towards the Heart Failure portfolio as agreed upon with Manager From time to time, evaluates product viability and planned product improvements and modifications Competency with Word, Powerpoint, Excel Excellent presentation skills in front of a variety of groups Strict adherence to acting responsibly and the protection of all company equipment and confidential information Support congresses and conferences as assigned Must be able to travel within Canada (approximately 75 PERCENT including overnight) Maintains a good driving record Ability to work efficiently in a home office environment and maintain appropriate filing, and communications support Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager Required Education and Experience Bachelors degree required in Science or Health Sciences, Nursing or equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in managing Advanced Heart Failure patients in a tertiary care hospital.
