At Lafarge Canada Inc., safety comes first, collaboration matters and diversity is celebrated with people who share our desire to continually make our materials better.Do you have the drive, the skills, and the passion to join us?The prime objective is to manage and operate the Winnipeg terminal in a safe, efficient, environmentally friendly, sustainable, and quality assured manner.In addition, the successful candidate will provide project management and engineering support across the terminal network.Terminal Management:Provide direction and supervision to five unionized employees.Manager the terminal in a safe manner, ensuring all company and provincial safety standards are metBe a role model in the areas of leadership, teamwork, continuous improvement, safety and environmental stewardship.Develop and manage the terminal operating budget.Provide long-term vision to ensure the terminal and operation are positioned to meet long-term company and customer needs.Manage and maintain terminal property and equipment in accordance with the terminal Preventive Maintenance Program.Project Engineer:Develop and lead terminal improvement & expansion projects in accordance with Lafarge policies and procedures.Own the capital expenditure (CAPEX) program from project scoping, project submission, project planning, and project execution across the terminal network.Provide support to the terminal network for new safety/environmental programs. Education: Post-secondary education in engineering or engineering technology.A designation such as P.
