Clean energy technology company with projects in Oil & Gas, Chemical, HVAC, Military and Food grade applications is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to join our existing team.

Technical Sales Manager Position Serves Customers by identifying their needs; engineering adaptations of products, equipment and services.

Personality: Organized (key factor), punctual, methodical, procedural, meticulous, team player and a strong leadership skill required. Out of the box thinker, Autonomous and able to handle situations independently.

Experience: 5 years needed in a working environment within a team of more than 5 sales people.

Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.

Provides product, service or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Responsible for developing and growing the market through new client contact.
Establishes new accounts and service accounts; planning and organizing sales call schedule.
Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans and related customer documents;
Consulting with engineers, purchasers and other professional and technical personnel.
Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes or use of materials or services.
Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements
Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff; costing engineering changes
Develops customer’s staff by providing technical information and on site training.
Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales information and engineering and application needs.
Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; proving information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and course of action; implementing directives.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Degree/training in Temperature/Motor Controls (asset)
CAD drawing (asset)
Required languages:

Excellent communication skills in English & French – Verbal & Written
Assets: CRM software, engineering degree, knowledge of Spanish, knowledge of controls and control panels

There is a possibility of promoting the right candidate to a Managing of the Sales Group after 2 years of proven leadership, out of the box thinking & independent skills.

Salary: From $65,000.00 per year, plus bonuses and benefits.
