This is a remote position. The Project Manager works closely with the Operations, Sales and Technology department to coordinate and prioritize project tasks, manage timelines and communicate status to project sponsors and clients. This role will engage with external vendors to ensure client requirements can be met within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements. His/her overall responsibility is to keep focus on client satisfaction and ensure a positive, value-added experience for the client. Responsibilities Effectively transition client projects from the Sales team to Operations Responsible for scoping, planning, executing, resourcing and monitoring assigned project(s) to keep on schedule and on budget. Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing issue resolution process, and taking corrective action as necessary Responsible for Project-Pre-Planning, Milestone tracking, Execution, Oversight, and Lessons Learned Activities and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Measure project performance using appropriate reporting systems, tools and techniques Clearly understand client needs and identify programs to meet those needs Communicate with clients to obtain setup requirements, establish clear parameters and understand client expectations in return Customize programs as needed, vetting with manager as to set up, and obtaining sign-off on any additional costs Demonstrate strong communication skills with all levels of stakeholders, including Executives. Able to prepare/present to senior level executives with appropriate level of information/duration Monitor vendor activity to ensure timelines and service level agreements are being met Ensure clear communication throughout the process by dealing directly with vendors to resolve or escalating as appropriate Analyze project risks, issues, costs, and benefits and make relevant recommendations to business and leadership. Provide and implement action plans to mitigate risk when applicable Participate in project teams to implement large programs and provide input as an SME from an operational perspective Drives creative, innovative ways to deliver complex projects Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution Perform other duties as assigned by manager Requirements Experience includes at least 5 years experience in financial services, and/or FinTech environments Project management experience Must have working knowledge of technical systems, including cloud technologies and SaaS platforms. Must be able to understand technical challenges and risk and communicate those with developers and technical managers. Ability to get into the weeds as a technical advisor and see the big picture as the technical project manager. Their ability to balance these skills will ensure we complete projects on time. Great ability to coordinate multiple tasks with various departments across multiple projects Must be a leader and have the ability to inspire and motivate the team. They must be able to articulate the vision of the project and ensure the team has all of the resources they need to succeed. Great communication skills. They must be able to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders and provide clear, concise status reports and updates. Proven planning skills. They must be able to not only plan projects, but also monitor the plan, make adjustments as necessary and recognize critical paths in order to deliver on time. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented, able to multitask and\ prioritize Client-focused and resourceful Strong working knowledge with MS Office Adaptable, flexible, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Solution-oriented with an eye towards process improvement Positive attitude and self-starter Able to work in teams as well as independent Nice-to-have Familiarity with: SQL or reporting tools Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator or other design software Any CRM tools experience considered an asset JIRA, Office 365, Zoho Suite, Google apps and other common web-based tools Benefits Full time Salary plus full benefits Ability to work remotely
